If you live in New zeland, AIA can provide you with renters insurance. Providing a backup cover in the event that you are a property owner, and have property in which you rent out.

Another area of this cover is it helps protects your home if you are unable to make mortgage or rent payments due to illness or accident. Depending on which option suits your needs the cover pays 115% of your mortgage or 115% rent payments or up to 45% of your income, should yon not be able to earn an income to pay your rent. AIA Rent Cover also waivers a 12 month period should you fall ill or encounter an accident which leaves you permanently or temporarily disabled. We are constantly putting your best interest at heart.
