Southern Cross Pet Insurance is specifically designed for cats and dogs, and you can insure your pet from 8 weeks to 6 years of age for PetCare plans, while there’s no age limit for starting an AcciPet plan.

Vaccinations and desexing are covered to a certain extent under PetCare plans, with an option to add day-to-day care for additional coverage.

A 20% co-payment is applicable, meaning you’ll pay 20% of eligible vet care costs. The policy covers eligible vitamin and mineral supplements prescribed by a vet as part of qualifying treatment. Inherited conditions, such as Hip Dysplasia, are covered under the PetCare plans.
