Vero Insurance Services
When it comes to protecting your valuable possessions, Vero's contents insurance offers two exceptional options: Maxi cover and Flexi cover.
Understanding the differences between these policies will help you make an informed decision based on your specific needs.
Settlement process: Restoring to perfection
With Maxi cover, your contents will be settled to their 'as-new' condition, ensuring that you receive the utmost care and attention when it comes to replacement. This policy covers most contents, up to your chosen sum insured.
Flexi cover, on the other hand, settles your contents to their 'as-is' condition. While not quite reaching 'as-new' levels, it provides fair compensation based on the condition of your belongings, also up to the sum insured you select.
Comprehensive coverage: Protecting what matters
Accidental loss or damage can happen when you least expect it. Maxi cover offers comprehensive protection in such cases, providing coverage for sudden accidental loss or damage anywhere in New Zealand. With Flexi cover, you have the option to add this coverage if it aligns with your needs.
Natural disasters are unpredictable and can wreak havoc on your belongings. Rest assured, both Maxi cover and Flexi cover policies include protection against natural disaster damage, ensuring you're safeguarded in the face of unforeseen events.
Liability coverage: Peace of mind
Vero understands the importance of liability coverage. Whether it's damage to property or bodily injury, both Maxi cover and Flexi cover policies provide substantial liability coverage. You can enjoy up to $2 million in coverage for property damage and up to $1 million for bodily injury.
Alternative accommodation: Support when you need it
In the unfortunate event that you need alternative accommodation, Vero has you covered. As a tenant, you'll receive up to one month or $5,000 (whichever is less) of alternative accommodation coverage with both Maxi Cover and Flexi Cover policies. If you're an owner-occupier, you'll enjoy the same benefits for up to 12 months or $30,000 (whichever is less).
Additional Vero contents insurance coverage: Valuable protection
Vero recognises the worth of your high-value items. Both Maxi cover and Flexi cover policies provide coverage for specific items such as:
- Jewellery
- Photographic equipment
- Bicycles
- Water-based recreational items
- Boats up to $3,000
- Coins
- Cards
- Stamps
- Contents in transit while moving house
