FMG’s home and contents insurance offers an extensive range of benefits that cater to your specific needs. One notable benefit is the coverage for hearing aids, prescription glasses, and dentures. In the unfortunate event of loss or damage, they provide up to $5,000, or a higher agreed value, to help you replace these essential items.

Liability coverage

Accidents happen, but they have you covered. FMG home and contents insurance includes liability coverage, protecting you against legal liabilities for injury to others or loss of their property. This means that if you accidentally damage someone else's property or cause injury, they’ll assist in covering the associated costs.

Preserving pairs and sets 

FMG understands the value of pairs and sets, and they go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction. In cases where a damaged part of a pair or set cannot be repaired or replaced, they’ll completely replace the set (excluding collections). In the case of computers and cellphones, FMG offers present-day value compensation. If you choose not to repair or replace these items, or if they’re more than three years old, they’ll provide compensation of up to $5,000 based on their present-day value.

For those with lifestyle block operations, an optional benefit allows you to protect contents related to your operations, including machinery and equipment, stores, and harvested products, for up to $5,000 in accidental loss coverage.

In the unfortunate event that your house becomes uninhabitable following a loss, FMG understands the importance of immediate assistance. They offer up to $30,000 for temporary accommodation costs, including the moving and storage of your contents. FMG provides coverage for boarding expenses for your beloved cats or dogs that typically reside with you.

Quick claims process 

They aim to provide prompt support during challenging times. In the unfortunate event of a complete loss of your contents, FMG ensures swift assistance by providing an initial payment of $5,000 within 48 hours upon claim acceptance. This ensures that you can begin rebuilding your life without unnecessary delays, with the advance payment deducted from the final claim settlement amount.
